The M&A and Transactions team in LDC Lawyers is the high quality transaction support firm in Vietnam providing advice to international and local clients from corporate, private equity to financial investors. The Transactions team assists clients to unlock and maximize deal value throughout the deal process from pre-deal evaluation, due diligence to post-deal services.
Due to growth and existing client needs, we are looking for a highly motivated and intelligent person for the position of Due Diligence, M&A Junior Lawyer with tasks and requirements as outlined below.
The successful candidate must fulfill all requirements. The position will involve working across Vietnam for our global client base, helping to develop the corporate practice and our other practice areas further. The role provides an opportunity for senior associates looking for an exciting and rewarding role in Vietnam.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Build deals’ experience from due diligence engagements and transactional support services provided to a wide range of businesses and industries.
Develop investigative and analytical skills gained through the analysis of financial and operational information and interviewing management teams.
Understanding of deal issues, how deals are valued and structured in Vietnam and abroad.

Job Requirements
Lawyer Practicing Certificate that issued by the Ministry of Justice. 5+ year experience after lawyer certification
University Graduate with major in Law (Preference will be given to candidates graduating from Ho Chi Minh City Law University, Hanoi Law University, University of Economics and Law or foreign law schools);
Experience in an international law firm or a firm dealing with foreign investments in Vietnam is a must
Fluent English in speaking and writing is essential. Studies or work secondment in a foreign country preferred but not essential.
Able to work in a team, willing and able to supervise and review work of junior team members
Analytical approach required
Proactive and willing to develop personally
Honesty and integrity essential, long term commitment essential
able to deliver good results under pressure
able to adapt quickly to new requirements and willing to learn
excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software
A strong understanding of Vietnamese Accounting Standards
Other similar working experiences in corporate advisory, investment banking, restructuring, auditing (for investment funds and financial institutions), financial evaluations or project advisory.
Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness
Good attention to detail
Inquisitive and eager to learn
Team player
A flexible working style and willingness to travel frequently and on short notice is essential
